Gillian is from Paisley in Scotland. She had a very successful High School soccer career, captaining the national championship winning team. She played for Celtic F.C ladies before moving out to the USA in 2009 to coach soccer full time.

She holds a Scottish Football Association level 2 coaching certificate and coached with the SFA for 4 years. She also coached Barrhead High School girls soccer team for 3 years.

‘My aim as a coach is for every player that dedicates themselves to Desert United to have the opportunity to further their soccer career at College. With the right attitude and the appropriate coaching I believe players will be developed and be ready should they wish to make this step.
