The Desert United Soccer Club was founded in 1988.
At that time four teams came together with a common goal to provide a quality soccer program at a competitive level for the youth of the Coachella Valley. We are a 501c3 organization and are centrally based in the city of Palm Desert, California. Our club is a chartered member of the California Youth Soccer Association - South, District 5.
Our Club is Growing!
Over the past 6 years we have expanded to as many as 17 teams and currently have 13 teams. All teams participate in the Coast Soccer League gaming circuit and call the Palm Desert Soccer Park their home field.Desert United's coaching philosophy encourages the development of skills based on a graduated curriculum. The mixture of individual technical instruction, tactical instruction and group play varies with the age of the teams, but all facets of the game are addressed at appropriate points in the curriculum. All players and parents are required to sign a Code of Conduct Agreement, to facilitate a better learning and playing environment.
Desert United Soccer Club holds annual open try-outs for new and returning players, and is dedicated to providing the best possible soccer experience to all of its players.
